The first destination is Yamunotri, the origin of the sacred Yamuna River. Pilgrims start the trek from Janki Chatti, covering approximately 5–6 km to reach the temple. The route is surrounded by snow-clad peaks, waterfalls, and natural hot springs, creating a serene and divine atmosphere.
After seeking blessings at Yamunotri, the journey continues towards Gangotri, the origin of the holy Ganga River. Located along the banks of the Bhagirathi River, Gangotri Temple offers a tranquil environment where devotees can participate in rituals and experience spiritual calmness.

Haridwar → Barkot (Drive: 180 km / 7–8 hrs)
Early morning pickup from Haridwar
Drive through Dehradun, Mussoorie, Kempty Falls
Reach Barkot by evening, gateway to Yamunotri
Check-in at hotel / camp and rest
Overnight Stay: Barkot
Day 2
Barkot → Yamunotri → Barkot (Drive: 36 km + 6 km trek one way)
Day 3
Barkot → Uttarkashi (Drive: 100 km / 4–5 hrs)
Day 4
Uttarkashi → Gangotri → Uttarkashi (Drive: 100 km one way / 3–4 hrs)
Day 5
Uttarkashi → Haridwar (Drive: 200 km / 8–9 hrs)
